Born in Paris, France, Chef Sylvain Rivet shaped his art and reputation in the city known for great food. He then travelled extensively, introducing his French touch all over the world - from owning and running a highly acclaimed and award winning restaurant, Amuse Bouche in California, to leading kitchens around the world, and even working for a variety of celebrities including Sharon Stone, Oprah Winfrey and the Jackson family. He now brings his talents and commitment to excellence to Charlotte at Renaissance Patisserie, which has won numerous awards, including voted best croissant in Charlotte (Charlotte Agenda) and best French bakery (Creative Loafing).
